Some Leeds fans on social media are over the moon after Ian Poveda was spotted back in training at Thorp Arch during an U23 game.
The youth side were playing a match at the training ground, but rather than watching the game, one eagle-eyed Leeds fan was looking in the background, where he saw Poveda doing some work.
The winger has been sidelined lately with an ankle injury, and this is the first inkling we’ve had that he’s back training.
The image is blurry, but it’s easy to see that it is indeed Poveda, with his trademark hair and diminuitive stature being two dead giveaways.
As you can imagine, Leeds fans were buzzing to see him back out on the training ground.
However, aside from being happy with Poveda’s recovery stepping up, supporters were very impressed by the Twitter user’s attention to detail and his ability to spot Poveda in the background of the U23s game.
Perhaps if Marcelo Bielsa ever wants to have a look into spying on opposition team’s again he should field a call to this Leeds fan.
