Manchester City fans reacted on Twitter to what was being chanted about Harry Kane upon his return to Tottenham on Sunday.

Spurs recorded a 1-0 win at Wolves yesterday, with Kane coming on a second-half substitute after weeks and weeks of speculation about his future.

Tottenham fans welcomed their star striker back with open arms, as the away supporters applauded and cheered him onto the pitch.

But that wasn’t the case with the home fans.

Some booed the England striker onto the pitch and started chanting ‘he’ll be a Manc in the morning’.

Tottenham Hotspur correspondent and Football London reporter, Alasdair Gold, posted on Twitter the exchanges between both sets of fans.

Man City supporters, watching on from home, liked what they heard from the Wolves supporters.

Although, the response from the Spurs fans was also pretty savage, as Kane should have marked his return with a goal.

The 2020/21 Golden Boot winner was slipped through on goal, only for his tame effort, from a difficult angle, to be saved by the on-rushing Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa.

Dele Alli’s first-half spot-kick separated both teams, after the attacking midfielder was fouled by Sa after he danced his way into the penalty area.

But it was Nuno winning three points on his return to Molineux and Kane donning the Spurs shirt again that stole the headlines.

This is how Man City fans reacted to chants about Kane yesterday:
