Some Liverpool fans have been sounding their appreciation on social media after Rhian Brewster got involved in Curtis Jones’ post-match scuffle for England’s U21s.
A fracas broke out after the final whistle, and while we don’t know exactly what happened, something clearly rubbed Curtis Jones up the wrong way.
The Liverpool midfielder seemed to be furious as he dashed towards the Croatia team, but he wasn’t alone as Rhian Brewster was on hand to back his corner.
The Sheffield United forward of course knows Jones from their time together at Liverpool, and Reds supporters were pleased to see such solidarity between two of their academy graduates.
Jones received a red card after the game, but Liverpool fans were happy to see that Brewster had his back
England’s U21s were eliminated from the Euros in what was an incredibly disappointing performance, and while we never like to see any post-match bust-ups like this, Liverpool fans were pleased that their player had some support.
