
Emile Smith Rowe made his England debut on Friday evening and Arsenal fans noticed something interesting about him on the pitch.
His performance wasn’t much to write home about. England were already 5-0 up when he came on and the Three Lions were cruising at that point.
However, despite the fact Smith Rowe didn’t make too much of an impact on his debut, his first international appearance still got Gunners fans talking.
Indeed, many Arsenal supporters noticed Smith Rowe wearing shinpads with the Arsenal logo on them during the game.
Fans believe this to be a sign of how much the club means to him, and it has to be said that it’s great to see the midfielder paying homage to his team on the international stage.
Smith Rowe was already a fan favourite before his England debut, but things like this will only endear him to the Arsenal supporters even more.
