Manchester City fans on Twitter have praised Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for his ‘class comments’ at his press conference.
Whilst others have criticised the decision to overturn City’s two-year European ban, Arsenal’s man in the dugout thinks that his former side ‘deserve’ to be playing in the Champions League, as he told Football London.
Arteta was Pep Guardiola’s assistant prior to his move to Arsenal, so it is understandable why he is defending his former club.
City fans have recognised what Arteta has had to say and they think other managers can learn from the Arsenal man.
Prior to Monday’s decision, City were heading for a two-year European ban, with the team finishing in fifth spot being handed a place in the Champions League.
But the decision to completely overturn that decision has seen many criticise FFP and how it seemingly doesn’t have any legs to stand on now.
