Manchester United reportedly want Tottenham Hotspur’s Toby Alderweireld, while Jonny Evans has moved to Leicester City from West Bromwich Albion.

Former Manchester United midfielder Lou Macari has made an interesting observation about Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld and Jonny Evans, who has joined Leicester City from West Bromwich Albion, on social networking site Twitter.
Tottenham central defender Alderweireld is on the radar of Premier League rivals United, according to The London Evening Standard.
It has been reported that Spurs are asking for more than the £55 million transfer fee that the Red Devils are willing to pay for the Belgium international centre-back.

Macari, who was on the books of United from 1973 until 1984, has suggested on Twitter that Spurs defender Alderweireld, who earns £75,000 per week as salary as reported by The Daily Star, is not worth £55m.
The former Celtic midfielder and manager has also compared the transfer fee that United are reportedly willing to pay for Alderweireld to how much Leicester are claimed to have paid for Evans.
According to BBC Sport, the Foxes paid West Brom, who will pay in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League, £3.5m as transfer fee in order to secure the services of 30-year-old Northern Ireland international centre-back, who started his professional club football career at United.
