Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will reportedly have 800 fans at matches at Ibrox next season.

The former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder has suggested that playing in front of just 800 fans at Ibrox will put the Hoops at a disadvantage.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, Rangers chiefs have cut Celtic’s allocation for tickets at Ibrox for the Old Firm derbies next season to 800 due to the volume of season tickets being sold.
All visiting supporters will be housed in the corner between the Broomloan and Sandy Jardine Stands, according to The Scottish Sun, which also claims that traditionally there are 7000 Celtic fans for the matches at Ibrox and they fill the Broomloan Stand.

Macari told The Scottish Sun: “If you ask Steven whether he’d rather there were 8,000 or 800 Celtic fans inside Ibrox, then there’s only one answer.
“Celtic have had a good record at Ibrox in the last few years, but this will definitely put them at a disadvantage. Steven has to get results in the Old Firm games and this will be a big boost for him.”

Disadvantage for Celtic?
Playing in front of just 800 fans at Ibrox against their bitter rivals is not going to be easy for the Celtic players, but at the end of the day, it comes to the performance on the pitch.
There is no doubt that Celtic have the best players in the Scottish Premiership, and if they continue to play they have in the past couple of seasons under manager Brendan Rodgers, then they will have nothing to worry about.
