Tottenham Hotspur will have to rely on Lucas Moura and Fernando Llorente tonight.

German legend Lothar Matthäus suggested that Fernando Llorente and Lucas Moura both have a point to prove to Mauricio Pochettino tonight, when writing his exclusive column for the Sun.
Spurs will be without Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son for their Champions League semi-final first-leg clash with Ajax tonight, so Llorente and Moura will likely start the match.
Llorente joined Tottenham from Swansea City in the summer of 2017 for £12 million, whilst Lucas moved to north London from PSG in January 2018 for around £25 million.
Neither player has really lived up to their expectations, however.
Kane has always been the automatic first choice striker, but now that he is potentially out for the rest of the season, and with Son suspended for tonight’s game, both the Spaniard and the Brazilian have a great chance to prove their worth.
Matthäus suggested that the Tottenham duo will have been angry at not playing regularly this season, and will be hugely motivated to show their manager what they can do tonight, when writing his exclusive column for the Sun:

“Sure, Son and Kane are key players and will be missed. But Pochettino has to trust those who have been on the bench – Lucas Moura and Fernando Llorente. They have maybe been a little angry and this is the motivation to show they deserve to start.”
Ajax will be a real test for Tottenham tonight, and if the north London outfit are to have any chance of taking an advantage into the second-leg, Llorente and Lucas will surely have to be on their very best form.
