Celtic, who will face Bayern Munich on Wednesday, won handsomely against Anderlecht in the Champions League last month.

Celtic lost 5-0 to Paris Saint-Germain at Celtic Park in their opening Group B match, but the Glasgow giants got the better of Belgian side Anderlecht 3-0 away from home in September.
The Hoops will return to Champions League action on Wednesday evening when they take on Bayern away from home at the Allianz Arena.
Ahead of match, Bayern legend Matthaus has admitted that he did not expect Celtic to win the way they did against Anderlecht in Belgium.
The former Bayern star has also stated that Scottish football is not followed closely in Germany these days.

“Rodgers is a coach that’s doing a great job,” Matthaus told The Scottish Sun. “Winning 3-0 against Anderlecht was a surprise for me. I didn’t expect that.
“It shows what Rodgers is doing. His problem is he cannot sign the best players who will go to the Premier League in England. Those players will not go to Scotland.”
“Celtic have a great history,” added Matthaus. “I’m sorry to say this, but I’ll be honest, we don’t follow Scottish football in Germany. It’s not so popular.”

Celtic do not have as good a squad as Bayern have, and it is hard to see the Bavarian giants slip up in Munich on Wednesday evening.
The Glasgow giants, though, will not make it easy for Bayern to pick up all three points from the match.
