Celtic defender Jullien went off injured in the victory over Dundee United

Neil Lennon has provided an update on Christopher Jullien after the defender went off injured in today’s win over Dundee United.
Jullien showed determination to clear a Marc McNulty effort off the line early in the second period, but he was left in agony following a subsequent collision with the post.
The Frenchman was stretchered off the field and replaced by Nir Bitton.
It marred an otherwise excellent afternoon for the champions, who comfortably brushed Micky Mellon’s team aside.

Goals from Ismaila Soro, David Turnbull and Odsonne Edouard gave the home side a 3-0 win.
After the match, Lennon was asked on BBC Radio Scotland about the severity of Jullien’s injury.
He replied: “We don’t know yet. It looks pretty painful. He was in a lot of pain coming off.

“There’s a lot of swelling. Hopefully that will settle in the next couple of days, but it’s too early to say.”
It was Bitton who took Jullien’s place in the centre of defence, but Lennon could also call upon Shane Duffy for Saturday’s crucial derby at Ibrox.
Rangers maintained their 16-point lead at the top of the Premiership thanks to a 2-0 win against St Mirren in Paisley.
