Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has told BBC Sport that his side should have performed better against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners got the better of Southampton 3-0 at home in the Premier League at the weekend.
Arsenal youngster Saka, who started on the right of a midfield-four behind Martin Odegaard in number 10, provided the assist for the first goal.
After the match, the £33,000-a-week 20-year-old (Salary Sport) said that Arsenal were sloppy and should have done much better.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka not happy
Saka said: “It’s a solid performance, we didn’t play our best, especially on the first half, we lost it so many times, it was sloppy. But we managed to get the two goals and control the rest of the game. It was solid from us.”
What a mentality!
In our opinion, Saka’s comments show the kind of mentality that the Arsenal attacker has.
Arsenal won 3-0 at home, and still Saka is not happy.
Well, not entirely.

It shows the hunger that Saka and the rest of the Arsenal players have.
In our view, this is the kind of mentality that is needed for Arsenal to get back to where they were.
We all remember the time when Arsenal were challenging for the Premier League title and playing in the Champions League.
Players such as Saka and with their high demand could lead Arsenal back to those glory days.
