Moise Kean is in danger of getting ‘lost’ at Everton, with the striker’s former coach Renato Biasi concerned about a disastrous debut season at Goodison Park while speaking to Europa Calcio.

In the summer of 2019, two of the brightest Italian prospects of the era sealed big-money moves to the Premier League from AC Milan and Juventus.

But like Patrick Cutrone, who returned to Serie A with Fiorentina after just a few forgettable months in the old gold of Wolves, it is fair to say life on British shores has not exactly gone to plan for Kean.

The 20-year-old shot to fame last season by firing Juventus to the Serie A title, while becoming the youngest player to find the net for the Italian national team in 60 years.

But, in 26 games for Everton, Kean has found the back of the net just once. The £27 million bench-warmer is also facing increasing questions over his attitude, having hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons recently.

No wonder Biasi, who discovered a young Kean at hometown club Asti, is worried about what the future may hold.

“Hopefully it’s just a transition season and (he) will recover. Otherwise he runs the risk of getting lost, as has happened to many other kids,” says Biasi, who believes a move to Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan may be the solution to a growing problem.

“Kean needs people who can direct him. Someone like Conte could be very good.

“From an early age, he was used to being considered the phenomenon, and therefore he could afford to do anything. For me, he could play in any team but he must put his mind and commitment into it.

“He has always had a somewhat exuberant character.”

While Kean has toiled for the Toffees, another young striker in the shape of Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been transformed into one of the Premier League’s most reliable number nines under the stewardship of Carlo Ancelotti.

And TEAMtalk suggests that Everton would have no qualms about letting Kean leave for Lazio if the Serie A challengers were willing to let 30-goal talisman Ciro Immobile go in the other direction.
