The Tottenham Hotspur duo have been linked with exits from the club this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino will be desperate to bolster his options at Tottenham this summer, in an effort to guide his side to their first major trophy since their 2008 League Cup triumph.
Whilst there have been plenty of rumours flying about regarding potential incomings at Spurs, there have also been reports linking two of their key first-team stars with exits from the club.
Mousa Dembele is wanted by Juventus and Napoli, according to Sky Sports Italia, whilst Borussia Dortmund are thought to be keen on prising Victor Wanyama away from Tottenham, according to German publication Sport Bild.
The Belgian and the Kenyan have both proven to be vital players for Tottenham over the past few years, and whilst they could probably afford to lose one of them, selling both could prove to be a disaster for the Lilywhites.
Pochettino will surely have a plethora of transfer targets lined up, and he will surely be prioritising the addition of at least two central midfield players, with Dembele and Wanyama’s futures in north London uncertain to say the least.
Tottenham do, of course, have Harry Winks back available now after a long-term injury, but if they are to make real progress next season, they surely cannot allow both the Belgium and Kenya internationals to leave the club this summer.
