Could the knock-on effect of losing Marcelo Bielsa be much worse than Leeds United realise?

Despite failing to bring Leeds United back to the Premier League, Marcelo Bielsa remains an adored figure by most fans.
The worrying thing is, there is now several clubs, from Roma to Girona, linked with the Argentine.
Obviously Leeds fans will want to keep the Argentine, but the knock-on effect from potentially losing him could be far more devastating that originally feared.
That is because United owner Andrea Radrizzani publicly predicted a ‘difficult’ transfer window for the Whites [The Daily Mail] today, and hinted that instead of making a lot of signings, the club could bring through its next generation of prospects.
This is already concerning, but less so if Bielsa remains in West Yorkshire because the veteran coach is adept when it comes to developing and nurturing young talent, as we’ve seen with the progress made by Jack Clarke and Jamie Shackleton.
But that strategy without Bielsa at the helm is rather worrying because, well, not every manager is as skilled or as experienced as the 63-year-old.
If Leeds lose Bielsa and still have to throw young players into the deep end next season then it could cancel out the giant strides that the team made this past season.
Despite being linked away, there is also consistent reports indicating that he will stay and, for Leeds and Radrizzani’s sake, you’d hope this is the case.
