Ashley Barnes has been linked with a surprise move to Chelsea, but losing the striker in this transfer window would represent a significant blow for Burnley.

This season Barnes has scored three goals in the Premier League for Burnley, while he has consistently worked hard up front and caused difficulty for opposing defenders with his clever movement.

If Burnley were to sell Barnes then they would be able to reinvest some or all of the money that they receive on a new striker, but they would have a very limited timeframe to sign such a player before the window closes.
