Ray Parlour has praised reported Liverpool target Lorenzo Insigne on talkSPORT (6:53am, July 9, 2021).
The former Arsenal star has been impressed by how Napoli winger Insigne has played for Italy at Euro 2020 this summer.
The 30-year-old winger has scored two goals in five European Championship matches for Italy.
Italian journalist Fabio Santini said this month that Liverpool are interested in signing Insigne from Napoli in the summer transfer window, as quoted in Area Napoli.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
Parlour said on talkSPORT (6:53am, July 9, 2021): “Insigne is a little livewire. He scored a great goal against Belgium.”
The former Arsenal star added: “Insigne is a real livewire. He gets on the ball, he runs at you, he is an excellent little player.”

Would Lorenzo Insigne make Liverpool better?
Insigne is a very good winger who is quick and has sound technique.
The Napoli star is very experienced and has played in European competitions at club level.
The 30-year-old is at the top of his game at the moment and would be able to make an immediate impact at Liverpool.

With just one year left on his current contract, Insigne is unlikely to cost a lot in transfer fees.
The Napoli star, who is right-footed but often plays on the left, scored 19 goals and gave seven assists in Serie A last season.
The Italy international scored eight goals and provided six assists in the league in 2019-20.
