Glasgow Rangers legend Lorenzo Amoruso spent six years at Ibrox.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Lorenzo Amoruso has described Rangers supporters as “absolutely fantastic”.
The Italian defender enjoyed a six-year spell at Ibrox, winning nine major honours in total – three Premiership crowns, three Scottish Cup titles and three League Cups.

Of course, the 45-year-old was always going to have an excellent rapport with the Rangers supporters after helping the club to so much success.
And the respect is clearly mutual as the former Blackburn Rovers man sung the praises of the people who once sung his name.

Asked why he has such a good relationship with Rangers the club, Amoruso responded: “It’s difficult to say. It’s such a massive, fantastic club, and you realise that when you leave,” he told the club’s official website.
“The fans are absolutely fantastic and it was great always having them around you and supporting you.”
Amoruso, along with many former Rangers greats, will be a keen viewer next season as Mark Warburton’s side gear up for their big Scottish Premiership return – and they have drafted in just a few new faces to help.
Warburton has recruited no fewer than eight players during a hectic transfer window and few would be surprised to see the Gers challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic.
