How did Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama get on against Chelsea?
Tottenham Hotspur secured an impressive win over Chelsea last night to end the Blues’ run of 13 consecutive wins.
There were strong performances all over the pitch from Spurs with Dele Alli scoring both goals in the 2-0 win, assisted twice by Christian Eriksen.

Midfield ace Victor Wanyama was one of the best players on the pitch, helping to shut down Chelsea’s usually impressive engine room of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas.
But Wanyama could not please everybody, with former Tottenham chairman Lord Sugar picking him out as a player who was struggling.
Sugar’s criticism of Wanyama did not go down particularly well, with fans responding to tell him his viewpoint was flawed.
Wanyama was crucial from a defensive perspective for Tottenham, making five tackles, more than any player in their team.
He touched the ball 69 times, completing 85 per cent of his passes, and made four clearances.
Former West Ham and Cardiff defender Daniel Gabbidon did not agree with Sugar’s assessment, lauding the Kenyan international’s performance and the effect it had on the Chelsea team.
Wanyama is the one summer signing Tottenham made who has made a telling impact for them so far this season.
More performances like last night will endear him further to fans, even if one former chairman wants to see an improvement from him.
