Barcelona have a huge advantage over Liverpool in the fight for a Champions League final spot.

Liverpool’s hopes of reaching the Champions League final have taken a major hit after losing 3-0 away at Barcelona on Wednesday night.
Jurgen Klopp’s side put their Premier League title hunt to one side in order to face Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash at the Camp Nou.
Sadly for the Reds, they came up short in Catalunya, with ex-Reds striker Luis Suarez opening the scoring for the hosts, before two goals from Lionel Messi made it 3-0.
Liverpool must now perform a miraculous comeback in the second leg, with both English clubs behind from the first leg after Tottenham Hotspur lost to Ajax.
Donny van de Beek’s first half goal was enough for Ajax to claim the win in North London, but Spurs are still in the tie ahead of their trip to Amsterdam for the second leg.

Ajax v Barcelona is the currently the safe bet for the Champions League final, but Tottenham fans haven’t given up hope yet – and neither has ex-owner Lord Sugar.
Sugar took to Twitter on Wednesday night to joke about the Champions League final, suggesting that Tottenham will be the team to face Barcelona in Madrid despite their one goal deficit.
Unsurprisingly, Sugar was mocked by rival fans on Twitter, who called him a dreamer and asked for the next joke, whilst coming up with some bizarre scenarios that would be more likely that Spurs overturning Ajax’s lead.
