Lord Sugar has criticised West Ham United fans for the scenes at the London Stadium on Saturday.
A small number of fans invaded the pitch during West Ham’s 3-0 home loss to Burnley, while countless others gathered to shout abuse at co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan.
Sugar is pals with the pair and employs West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady on BBC show The Apprentice.
The former Tottenham chairman is taking no pleasure in their troubles, and believes West Ham fans are being unappreciative of the efforts made by Gold and Sullivan.
Sugar’s message predictably drew an angry response from supporters, but he insisted that the fans will not achieve anything.
West Ham are in a precarious position in the Premier League, in 16th place just three points ahead of the relegation zone.
There are only eight games remaining and the team is out of form.
Calls for unity make sense, but if the Hammers start losing heavily again, supporters are going to find it tough to keep their emotions in check.
