Tottenham Hotspur won 5-0 on Saturday but the win may have been marred by one incident.
Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane both scored twice as Tottenham Hotspur smashed Swansea City 5-0 at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
The opener came from the penalty spot on 39 minutes when Dele Alli won what looked to be a very contentious spot-kick, which Kane confidently dispatched.
Son Heung-min added a superb second on the stroke of half time, before Kane completed his brace shortly after the restart.
It was plain sailing from there and Eriksen – who also scored in the 2-1 defeat at Chelsea last week for his first goal of the Premier League season – grabbed another two in the final 20 minutes as Tottenham ran out emphatic winners.
Debate will rage as to whether Alli dived to win the penalty which ultimately led to the rout, and the likes of Lord Sugar, John Hartson and Jason Roberts were in agreement that the 21-year-old midfielder got away with one.
Roberts told BBC Sport: “Was that a soft penalty? Does ‘soft’ mean ‘a dive’? Because Dele Alli has dived. I can see why the referee gave it, because it’s hard to distinguish whether or not he got caught. But it was a dive.”
Meanwhile, Sugar – who used to own Spurs – and Hartson expressed their disappointment on Twitter.
