Tottenham Hotspur have won against Cardiff City in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways on Saturday afternoon, as they got the better of Cardiff City 1-0 at home in the Premier League.
Eric Dier’s goal as early as the eighth minute proved to be the difference between Tottenham and Cardiff at the Wembley Stadium in London.
The visiting team also ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Joe Ralls in the 58th minute.
Lord Sugar was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Spurs.
The former Tottenham chairman believes that the North London club could have won 4-1.
Former Spurs duo Micky Hazard and Graham Roberts have also taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the win for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The win against Cardiff mans that Tottenham are now third in the Premier League table with 18 points from eight matches, a point behind Manchester City and Liverpool, who are first and second respectively in the standings.
