Liverpool fans took to Twitter on Tuesday to call for Karim Adeyemi. The RB Salzburg forward caught the eye against Sevilla in the Champions League.
Karim Adeyemi was electric on Tuesday against Sevilla in the Champions League. The teenager won three first-half penalties for RB Salzburg.
He even took the first, in fact, but unfortunately, put it wide. That took him off duty – though, Salzburg only converted one in the end. That saw them draw 1-1 in Seville.
This is only the latest jump into the limelight from Adeyemi. The 19-year-old has scored consistently to start the season, bagging six goals in the Austrian Bundesliga, one in a Champions League qualifier and one on his debut for Germany.
That supposedly has Liverpool looking at the player. They’ve scouted him since 2018, per Goal, but Bild believe a January move is on the cards. That’s something Transfermarkt backs up.
This Champions League display will only further Liverpool’s desire to sign the teenager. In fact, Liverpool fans seem quite desperate to bring Adeyemi to Anfield.

Liverpool fans won’t be the only ones wanting Adeyemi, though. More and more clubs will surely get involved as it really seems he can follow in the footsteps of Erling Haaland and Patson Daka.

Those two earned moves to top European leagues and Adeyemi will surely be next. We just hope that Liverpool don’t miss the boat on this one as they did Haaland and Daka.
Adeyemi is certainly one to watch over this Champions League group stage, then. The teenager feels like a true wonderkid and, hopefully, he’s the long-term goalscorer Liverpool could sorely use.
