Jose Enrique has lauded Mo Salah on Instagram and claimed that the Liverpool star ‘looks so sharp’ during these early stages of the Premier League season.

The former Reds left-back was responding to an Instagram post by Liverpool Goals where it was sharing how Salah has touched the ball in the oppositon box more than 35 times so far this season – no other Premier League player has touched it more and amazingly it’s more than the entire West Brom team combined [34].

Well, underneath the comments section, Enrique was full of praise for the £34 million winger [BBC Sport] after seeing that stat by sharing this message: ‘He looks so sharp and with so much desire to win everything. That’s really positive for us’.

Salah didn’t win the Premier League Golden Boot last season, but you can bet your bottom dollar that he will be doing everything in his power to put his name on top of that list.

He has started the new campaign in blistering fashion, and even though he didn’t get on the score sheet against Arsenal, he tore Kieran Tierney to shreds.

After the Egyptian had struck a hat-trick on the opening day of the campaign against Leeds, ex-Manchester United right-back, Gary Neville claimed that the Liverpool man is reaching another level, as he told Sky Sports.

Well, one thing is for sure, the left-footed speedster seems to have boosted his engine during this short summer break because he looks quicker, sharper and stronger than before.

All of this bodes well for Jurgen Klopp and his quest to win back-to-back titles, which not many teams have achieved over the years.
