Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching some 14-second footage of Martin Ødegaard in training, following his arrival from Real Madrid.
Yesterday, the Gunners announced that the 25-cap Norway international would be spending the rest of the season on loan at the Emirates.
It looks as if Ødegaard jumped straight into training, having arrived in north London without any injury problems.
In the footage, the 22-year-old can be seen doing some kick-ups, while also chatting to Dani Ceballos at London Colney.
Kieran Tierney can also be seen with a ball in the background.
It might not be much, but such is the hype around his arrival, the short clip has got Arsenal fans talking on Twitter.
Ødegaard is in contention to make his debut for the north Londoners this weekend when Manchester United travel to the Emirates on Saturday.
After a few days of training, it seems unlikely that Mikel Arteta will throw him straight into the starting XI, in our view.
However, Arsenal’s new No.11 could potentially be a threat from the bench, if the game is nicely poised and set up for him to make an impact.
