‘Looks like you’re starting’: Some Arsenal fans respond to £220k-a-week star’s one-word tweet

It looks like Willian might be starting for Arsenal in their Europa League quarter-final tonight.

The Emirates Stadium plays host as Slavia Prague visit North London hoping to damage Arsenal’s chances of winning the competition.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has a number of injury doubts and it seems like Willian might be in the Spaniard’s first XI.

The former Chelsea winger, who did the pre-match media duties on Wednesday, is likely to start on the left-hand side of attack for the North Londoners, with Bukayo Saka potentially playing left-back in place of the injured Kieran Tierney.

If Willian does start, it probably means that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will spearhead the attack in his favoured number nine role.

Hours before the game, the 32-year-old attacker, who signed a £220,000-a-week Bosman deal last summer, uploaded a one-word post on Twitter that simply read ‘matchday’ – and here’s how some Arsenal fans responded to him on social media:
