Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after Miguel Azeez shared his new look with supporters on Instagram.

The 18-year-old wonderkid has ditched his trademark hairstyle, chopping his locks off for a shorter look.

Judging by the responses below, Arsenal fans have been left disappointed by this.

One supporter said it was a ‘sad moment’ while another simply admitted that they weren’t happy about what Azeez has done.

When the teenage prodigy surges through the opposition midfield, it is a joy to watch.

It’s reminiscent of watching Ruud Gullit for the Netherlands, who also had long, dreadlocked hair during his playing days.

Regardless of how he looks, Azeez has a huge future at Arsenal.

The Hale End graduate has already made his first-team debut for the Gunners.

Azeez played seven minutes of the Europa League win over Dundalk back in October, and has been heavily involved in first-team duties at London Colney ever since.

After seeing what Mikel Arteta has done with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, it’ll be incredibly exciting to watch Azeez’s future unfold.

What type of player is Azeez?

The teenager is a cool, composed midfield maestro who is evidently too good to be playing at Under-18 level.

When writing a scout report on Azeez, Football London wrote that he takes inspiration from Barcelona playmaker Sergio Busquets.

The Spaniard often dictates the play, and very rarely loses possession for Ronald Koeman’s side.

Hopefully, we’ll see a bit more of Azeez next season.

However, he will be without his trademark look, which seems to have upset some fans – let’s see what they’ve been saying…
