According to Ben Jacobs, Arsenal are interested in a move for Southampton right-back Tino Livramento.
Livramento has been shining for Southampton over the past two years, and his performances on the south coast have caught the eye of Arsenal.
A technically brilliant full-back, the defender is also one of the most physically impressive young players in the league with an incredible engine and fantastic pace.
Don’t just take our word for it though, Theo Walcott has also praised the right-back’s physicality in the past.

Walcott impressed by Livramento
The ex-Arsenal man hailed his teammate when speaking to the Daily Echo.
“I feel like he’s got a really good career ahead of himself. We need to make sure we just let him do it in the background, I suppose,” Walcott said. “He physically looks like an athlete, which you would hope anyway. But he is a very grounded young man I feel and is very well spoken, as well,” Walcott said.
“He keeps his head down. He works hard and it’s only been a few days, but you can tell already he’s definitely a very good young character. The club need to look after him. But the players, as well, we are around him and always there for him.
“I just said to him: ‘Go out there and enjoy it, because that’s when you play your best football. Enjoy yourself, relax and express yourself’. I felt he was very comfortable, but it was just a shame we couldn’t make that first goal into two because we really did start the second half really well.”
High ceiling
Livramento may not be ready to play for a club like Arsenal right now, but at the age of just 20, he has so much room to improve.
As Walcott says, the athleticism and attitude are already there with Livramento, he just needs the finer points of his game to be tuned.
Livramento would be a brilliant player for Mikel Arteta to work with and develop as he has done with a number of talented young players in recent years.
