Blackburn Rovers fans are starting to change their mind about Barry Douglas after the Leeds man helped his side record a 1-0 win over Luton on Saturday.
Douglas moved to Ewood Park late during the transfer window and it seems as though the popular Leeds man struggled to get going at first.
But a number of Rovers fans have put that down to his lack of fitness and sharpness, as they now believe he is producing the goods.
Leeds’ left-footed wizard knows exactly what it is like to earn promotion after he did it with the Yorkshire giants last season, and before that, with Wolves.
He will be hoping to add Tony Mowbray’s side to that list after their three points and clean sheet yesterday, which put them within touching distance of the play-offs.
A number of Blackburn fans heaped praise on Douglas’ contribution to the Luton win and how a late block ensured they walked away with the points.
It’s now a case of continuing that and hoping his current club will join Leeds in the Premier League next term.
