Gary Lineker has praised Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale on Twitter.

The Tottenham legend was impressed by the pass from Bale for Harry Kane’s goal in the 15th minute against Burnley this afternoon.

Spurs got the better of Burnley 4-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.

Bale, who returned to Tottenham on loan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2020, himself scored twice for the home team.

Starting to flourish

Bale carried an injury when he arrived at Spurs, and after he recovered, the winger struggled to get into the team.

However, in recent matches, the Wales international has flourished and is looking like he could be back to his best soon.

The 31-year-old seemed to enjoy himself against Burnley. The Welshman worked hard, looked creative, took his goals really well, and connected nicely with his teammates.

Spurs are very much in the race for the Premier League top four and are also aiming to win the Europa League.

For Tottenham to be successful in their quest this season, Bale will have to play a big role.
