Jack Harrison has been on the end of heavy transfer interest from Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but it seems as though there won’t be any surprise talk of him leaving Leeds United on deadline day.

After Jesse Marsch’s side recorded a 1-1 draw against Everton on Tuesday night, Harrison posted on Instagram that he is ‘looking forward to the game on Saturday’.

Despite all the talk surrounding the £40 million rated player, he has put his head down, grafted for Leeds and secured three assists from his opening five Premier League matches.

It’s understandable why clubs like Newcastle and Spurs were keen to take him on board because the 25-year-old is a technically outstanding footballer and someone who is ready to take his game to the next level.

Well, Leeds will travel to Brentford at the weekend and Marsch is hoping his players can maintain their strong start to the new season.

And going by Harrison’s latest IG post, that’s exactly what he is looking forward to, so any talk of him leaving should probably be put to bed now.

HARRISON SHOULD STAY PUT

There’s no doubt that Harrison would earn more regular minutes at Leeds than Newcastle or Tottenham, so that’s one reason to stay put.

Yes, Spurs can offer Champions League football, but a certain Son Heung-min plays on the left flank for Antonio Conte, so he’s not getting ahead of him anytime soon.

Leeds are showing signs of progression under Marsch and after the unsteadiness of last season, they now need stability and Harrison can become a big part of that moving forward.
