The Athletic journalist David Ornstein has reported on Twitter that Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe “looked distressed” after suffering an injury during warm-down following the Premier League match against Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Smith Rowe picked up an injury during warm-down and was accompanied back to the Arsenal dressing by the club’s assistant coach Carlos Cuesta.

The Red Devils won the match 3-1.

The result means that Arsenal have now lost their 100% record in the Premier League this season.

Injury problem for Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe

Blow

Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe has had injury problems in recent times, and it remains to seen what today’s exact problem is.

The 22-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is one of the best and most important players for Arsenal.

Now, of course, the English youngster is not guaranteed a place in Arsenal manger Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup at the moment, but he is a very good option to have.

The North London club need all of their best players to be available and in form in oder to be successful this season.
