Jack Wilshere and Ian Wright have taken to Twitter to react after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 87th minute winner saw Arsenal beat Benfica.
The last-gasp header, following an exquisite cross from Bukayo Saka, means Arsenal are now in the Europa League Last 16 following a dramatic second leg.
After the game, Wilshere held a Q&A session on Instagram, where one supporter asked him how he’s feeling after the Gabon international’s late winner.
The Bournemouth maestro then replied with a wide-eyed photo of himself, with the caption: ‘Look at the stress they put me through.’
He was also asked about Saka, to which he replied: ‘Top, top player.’
Elsewhere, Wright was less eloborate.

The BBC pundit simply posted a number of emojis expressing relief, with a photo of himself open-mouthed, in shock at the Gunners’ impressive comeback.
It really was vital that Arsenal won last night, and while they made hard work of it, Mikel Arteta must be delighted.

Securing European football via the Premier League looks a tough ask this season, so winning the Europa League is surely Arsenal’s last chance of Champions League football next term.
There’s still a long way to go in the competition, and some top quality teams to face, but Arteta will be breathing a huge sigh of relief after his side managed to clear a big hurdle.
