Chelsea supporters reacted to footage of Thomas Tuchel and Raphinha exchanging words after their 3-2 win against Leeds on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
Even though he was on the losing side, it was a stunning performance from Leeds’ flying winger – his tackle on Antonio Rudiger aside – who opened the scoring from the penalty spot.
After his goal, Raphinha proceeded to dance in front of the home supporters which didn’t go down too well.
Nonetheless, when the footage emerged of Tuchel talking to the Brazil international after the game, it got the Chelsea fans excited.
Some supporters stated that they wouldn’t mind seeing his ankle-breaking and technically-gifted services at Stamford Bridge, although Leeds would have something to say about that.
Even though Raphinha’s overall display was outstanding, he did produce a moment to forget.
It was the Leeds player’s tackle on Rudiger in the penalty area that put Tuchel’s men into the lead in the second half.
Before Mateusz Klich obliged by doing the same, as he was punished for his kick in stoppage-time.
Nonetheless, even though Raphinha is playing for a Leeds team struggling near the bottom and producing indifferent performances, he has been outstanding for his injury-hit side.
From 14 Premier League games this term, Raphinha has scored seven goals and supplied one assist.
