Darren Bent urged Tottenham on talkSPORT to ‘seriously’ look at signing Manchester City duo Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus.

With Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, being a hot ticket in this summer transfer market, those in Manchester have seemingly put a deal on the table to try and lure the Englishman in their direction.

It has been reported by the Sun that both Sterling and Jesus have been offered in a potential deal for Kane to head to the Etihad.

Ex-Tottenham hitman, Bent, suggested it’s a deal hard to turn down for his former club even though he’s not Jesus’ biggest fan.

“From Tottenham’s perspective, if ever there was a sweetener in losing Harry Kane to Manchester City,” said Bent. “And they offer Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus. And some money.

“Then you need to look at that, seriously. I am not Gabriel Jesus’ biggest fan but he can score goals. Sterling has been very good. And with money. Ooof!

“It does make it interesting.”

This is something that should be batted away from Spurs because Kane alone produced more this season than Sterling and Jesus put together.

Yet one set of players won the Premier League title and the other had to drag a declining team into seventh by playing what was deemed by many as ‘negative’ football.

Keeping Kane should be the priority for Spurs, even if crazy offers are put on their table because as soon as they lose him then a lot of things around them might just collapse.

But Tottenham need to get their own house in order first, and it starts with them putting a stop to this long road of hunting for a new manager and appointing him as soon as possible.
