Jamie Carragher has taken a dig at Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, after the Arsenal forward failed to make much of an impact against West Ham United.
Speaking live on Sky Sports, Carragher suggested that Aubameyang had barely got involved in Arsenal’s stirring comeback against West Ham.
The Gabonese striker was very quiet, despite his side being on top after the half-hour mark at the London Stadium.
When Arsenal did score their third, Aubameyang was the first man on the scene though, as he congratulated close friend Alexandre Lacazette for completing the comeback.
And Carragher suggested that he had barely noticed Aubameyang was on the pitch until his wild celebration.
“It’s the biggest involvement we’ve seen today from Aubameyang, the celebration,” Carragher said.
“And look at that celebration there, he’s happy now, he’s smiling now.”

Aubameyang’s below par display raises further questions over whether he will keep his place in Arsenal’s team.
There is no doubt that the 31-year-old’s performance levels have dipped, and he is the attacking player who now looks most likely to be dropped by Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta surely cannot take Lacazette, Bukayo Saka or Martin Odegaard out of his side, with the trio in such good form, so Aubameyang will need to step up his game if he is to stay in the Gunners’ first choice team.
