Leeds ace Adam Forshaw spoke exclusively to the Yorkshire Evening Post, ahead of his side’s clash with Millwall on Saturday, and inisted that he will be ready for action, if called upon by Marcelo Bielsa for the game against the Lions.

The 26-year-old hasn’t played since the Whites’ 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers in May.

The central midfielder suffered a broken foot in July, and he has been working hard to be back involved in the first-team setup at Elland Road ever since,.

Leeds have made an excellent start to their Championship campaign, but they are currently in the midst of somewhat of an injury crisis, with Patrick Bamford, Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez all currently out, so Forshaw’s return really would be welcomed.

The former Middlesbrough man spoke exclusively to the Yorkshire Evening Post, and admitted that he is salivating over the prospect of being back involved against Millwall:

“They’re all good games in the Championship, it’s so competitive, but there is that little bit of added extra between the two clubs. There’s no game like Millwall away but we’ll see. I’m not sure (of being in Bielsa’s squad) and I’m not ruling myself in or out, I’m just taking it day by day. I’m gaining fitness every day and working hard.”

Leeds will be in for a tough game against Millwall, but having Forshaw back and available for selection will undoubtedly be a big boost for Bielsa, as he looks to guide his side to another victory on their ultimate quest for promotion.
