Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has showered Mohamed Salah with praise after another masterclass performance from the attacker.

Speaking to the Athletic, the Merseyside coach lauded the Egyptian attacker following his performance against Watford. Salah yet again scored a contender for goal of the season as well as assisted the opening strike of the game.

The winger now has ten goals in ten games in all competitions for Liverpool. And in the words of Lijnders, Salah is in unstoppable form for the Reds this campaign.

Lijnders said on Salah: “Mo is playing with pure joy. When top players can enjoy football and have this professionalism they become unstoppable. Sometimes it looks like he is in the park, a young boy again, dribbling and combining to score.”

Indeed, a case can be made that Salah is the most in-form player in Europe following his electric start to the season. The forward has been a key reason behind Liverpool’s brilliant start to the season.

And Lijnders’s comments on Salah have seemingly struck a chord with Liverpool supporters on social media. After all, the attacker has got Reds fans on Cloud Nine after recent performances in the Premier League.
