Andy Lonergan is reportedly set to leave Leeds this summer.

The Evening Post have reported that Andy Lonergan could be set to leave Leeds United with the club weighing up whether to release the goalkeeper, and Marcelo Bielsa should replace him by luring another goalkeeper back to Elland Road.
Lonergan, 34, rejoined Leeds last summer but has struggled to provide adequate competition as back-up goalkeeper, making a number of mistakes during his nine appearances during 2017-18.

Despite Felix Wiedwald being ostracised, Lonergan was overlooked for youngster Bailey Peacock-Farrell towards the end of the season under Paul Heckingbottom. Now, he could see his contract torn up a year before it is supposed to expire.

If Lonergan leaves, Leeds will need a goalkeeper after selling Wiedwald to German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, leaving only Peacock-Farrell to choose from.
Bielsa needs to bring a goalkeeper in so surely the Whites should consider rivalling Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for Derby County goalkeeper Scott Carson?
The Sun claim Brighton are to make a £2.5million bid to land Carson, with Derby looking to offload a number of first-team stars in order to balance the books. But at Brighton, the 32-year-old is unlikely to be first choice.

The Seagulls have recently signed Jason Steele, while boasting Australia’s number one Mat Ryan. That should tempt Leeds to rival Chris Hughton’s side and bring Carson back to Elland Road – 13 years after leaving Leeds.
Carson joined Liverpool in 2005 from Leeds after making just three appearances for the Whites, and has since played for the likes of Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Bursaspor and Wigan Athletic.
With Lonergan potentially leaving then, Leeds should consider a move for Carson.
