Leeds face Derby on Wednesday night in the Championship.

Leeds United goalkeeper Andy Lonergan has told Whites fans on Twitter that his side are raring to go against Derby County on Wednesday night – and fans have reacted by urging him to start over Felix Wiedwald.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side travel to Derby ahead of Wednesday night’s clash as they go in search of their new manager’s first win at the third attempt, simultaneously looking to end their winless run of nine games.

The Whites will be in buoyant mood after coming from behind to draw 2-2 against play-off hopefuls Bristol City on Sunday afternoon, thanks to second-half goals from Pierre-Michel Lasogga and Kemar Roofe.
German stopper Wiedwald was at fault for City’s first as he was nowhere to be seen when defending a corner, and fans are hoping Lonergan starts over the former Werder Bremen man in their replies to 34-year-old Lonergan.
Lonergan almost left Leeds in the January transfer window to join Sunderland, but has remained at Elland Road to act as back-up to Wiedwald and the decision could pay dividends as he my be given a chance in goal.
Leeds fans reacted to Lonergan’s tweet by asking if he is to start the match, with one fan saying “tell Paul to start you” while another described Felix Wiedwald as a “useless git”.
