West Ham United star Declan Rice has raved about Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka on the Super 6 Podcast.
Rice, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, plays with Saka for the England national football team.
The 19-year-old, who can play as a left-winger or as a left-back, has played four times for the Three Lions, while 21-year-old Rice has played 13 games already for England, scoring one goal in the process.
The West Ham youngster said on the Super 6 Podcast: “Bukayo Saka is unbelievable, never seen anything (like him). He’s ridiculous. So good.”
Bright future
Saka is not guaranteed a place in the Arsenal starting lineup, but he is playing well and is progressing nicely.
Getting chances in the Premier League and featuring in the Europa League will help the teenager become a better and more mature footballer.
According to WhoScored, Saka has made six starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League and has played 111 minutes in the Europa League for Mikel Arteta’s side so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the teenager made 19 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League and played six times in the Europa League, according to WhoScored.
The England international is only 19 years of age, and working with Arteta at Arsenal and Gareth Southgate at England will help the teenager get better.
Rice is not the first footballer to speak highly of Saka. Arsenal winger Willian, ex-Gunners striker Robin van Persie, and Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jack Grealish all rate him highly.
