Logan Paul has moved to clear up the confusion surrounding his blunt response about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.

The WWE star drew attention during Super Bowl week when he answered “No” after being asked if he was excited for the performance.

With the clip circulating widely online, Paul has now explained the context behind his remark.

Logan Paul provides context for the red carpet moment

During an appearance on SI’s The Takedown, Paul detailed why his answer was less about the artist and more about the situation he was in at the time.

He explained that he was focused on work obligations while attending the event rather than following the game or halftime festivities.

“On the red carpet, when I was asked, ‘Are you excited for the halftime show?’ I can’t remember the last halftime show I’ve been excited for. I don’t even know if I’m paying attention for most of the game.”

“Like, I’m working, I’m mingling and stuff. And yeah, maybe part of it is knowing what could happen in the WWE, but also part of it is just like, I’m walking down a red carpet.”

The comment suggests his response stemmed from the environment and his mindset at the time rather than any criticism of Bad Bunny.

Paul indicated that the viral clip did not fully capture the broader context of the exchange.

Speculation over WWE crossover remains

While clarifying his stance, Paul acknowledged that high-profile entertainment moments often spark conversation about potential WWE storylines.

Bad Bunny has previously competed inside a WWE ring, and Paul has become a regular performer within the company’s roster.

He noted that part of his thinking may have involved awareness of what could unfold in WWE, even if he was not intentionally setting anything in motion.

The clarification reframes the situation as a matter of circumstance rather than conflict.

For now, Paul’s explanation appears to close the door on any suggestion that his initial comment was meant as a slight.
