West Ham United are reportedly tracking the Borussia Dortmund ace.

Hammers boss David Moyes will surely be looking to bolster his ranks during the January transfer window, with his side currently sitting precariously in 17th position in the Premier League table.
The Guardian claim that the Scot is lining up an ambitious loan move for Borussia Dortmund ace André Schürrle, and if he is successful in bringing the German to the London Stadium in January, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for West Ham.
The 27-year-old winger has played a peripheral role for Dortmund this season, making just four Bundesliga appearances, but he still has a lot to offer at the very highest level.

Schurrle’s direct playing style, and experience of playing in the Premier League with Chelsea makes him an ideal signing for the Hammers next month, and he would undoubtedly help them improve upon the potency of their attacking play.
West Ham have made large strides in front of goal in recent weeks, but the addition of Schurrle would provide Moyes with a totally different option down the flanks.
He is not only a provider but also an accomplished goalscorer, and he would offer the likes of Michail Antonio and Marko Arnautovic stiff competition in the wide attacking areas.
Andre Schurrle
It could be argued that there is a more pressing need for Moyes to strengthen his defensive and midfield options, but bringing a player of Schurrle’s ilk to the club would only be a good thing.
With the opening of the January transfer window just around the corner, this will certainly be one for Hammers fans to keep an eye on.
