Speaking on the Sky Sports Football YouTube channel, Eddie Nketiah has claimed that Mohamed Elneny is the fittest player at Arsenal.
The striker was playing a game of true or false, and when he was asked about Elneny being the fittest player at the club, he gave him a glowing review.
What’s been said?
Nketiah reckons that Elneny has an absolute engine on him.
“Maybe, Mo has got a good engine. I’d put him up there to be honest, so I’d say true. He’s got loads of energy man, it’s so infectious when you play with him he gives you a boost, so I love to play with him in training,” Nketiah said.

The fittest player at Arsenal
To be fair, we have to agree with Nketiah’s view about Elneny being Arsenal’s fittest player.
The Egyptian simply doesn’t stop running when he’s on the pitch, and while the likes of Kieran Tierney and Bukayo Saka are also non-stop, Elneny seems to be the fittest of the bunch.
Elneny may not be Arsenal’s best player, but his immense stamina makes him a real asset in the Gunners’ midfield.
Nketiah certainly isn’t wrong about his teammate, and we can absolutely understand why he loves to play alongside Elneny in training.
