According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are amongst the clubs interested in Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma.
The Dutch winger has been the subject of interest from Everton and West Ham in recent weeks, and now, Spurs could move for the La Liga star.
Danjuma has been utterly brilliant over in Spain over the past 12 months or so, labelling himself as ‘one of the best wingers in the world’ after his remarkable run of form, and now, Spurs want him.
Whether or not Tottenham get this deal over the line remains to be seen. After all, Danjuma could be an expensive move to make, but, in our view, Tottenham could have a trick up their sleeve.
Indeed, while swap deals are remarkably rare in football, there is reason to believe that Spurs could come to some sort of arrangement with Villarreal that could see Danjuma and Giovani Lo Celso swap places on a permanent basis.

Lo Celso, of course, has spent the last 12 months on loan at The Yellow Submarine, and his good form over in Spain will surely have tempted the club into making a permanent move.
Unfortunately for Villarreal, cash isn’t easily accessible for La Liga clubs at the moment as the effects of the pandemic continue to ripple across European football, and that means that many clubs are having to sell before they buy.
However, Villarreal could cut-out the middle man here and speak to Spurs about a potential part-exchange or swap deal that works for all parties.
Villarreal already have a player in their ranks who can replace Danjuma in the shape of Yeremy Pino, they are huge fans of Lo Celso, while Spurs want their player.
A Lo Celso-Danjuma swap or part-exchange deal could work well for everyone here.
