Stevan Jovetic – Sevilla
Since signing on loan from Inter Milan, the former Man City forward has been a revelation, providing 7 goals and assists in just 8 appearances for Sevilla, including the winner against Real Madrid on his home debut.
Oumar Niasse – Hull City
Signed on loan from Everton, 26-year-old Niasse has quickly shown an eye for goal, scoring against Liverpool and impressing against Arsenal. With Hull’s Abel Hernandez sidelined once more by injury, Niasse could find himself an important figure for the club – a stark contrast with how out of favour he has been at Goodison Park since arriving from Russia. It certainly looks like the Tigers are making better use of the attacker’s talents than the Toffees.
Andrea Ranocchia – Hull City
Another new player at Hull, Ranocchia looks to be rediscovering the form that made him an exciting figure in Italian football under Marco Silva. With an assist and a clean sheet on his debut, and arguably hard done by in a narrow defeat to Arsenal, the new man at the back is providing stability and creativity for the Tigers. If he can help Hull stay up and secure a permanent summer transfer, it would be an excellent piece of business by the club.
M’Baye Niang – Watford
Many were surprised when talented AC Milan prospect Niang signed on loan with Watford – especially considering both parties are willing to make the move permanent. And Niang wasted no time in showing his pace and skill, with a goal and an assist against Burnley in the league. It already looks like the Frenchman’s approach could be better suited to the exciting Premier League environment, rather than the more reserved Serie A.
