Livingston mock Celtic on Twitter as Bhoys suffer another embarrassment

Celtic’s ever-dwindling hopes of catching Rangers took another blow on Wednesday night with a 2-2 draw at Livingston.

The Bhoys were already 21 points behind Rangers in the race for the Scottish Premiership title, and couldn’t afford any more slip-ups.

The storm over Celtic’s trip to Dubai and Neil Lennon’s outburst at the press this week continues, and the 2-2 draw last night won’t improve the mood.

Ciaran Brown had put Livingston ahead, but Mohamed Elyounoussi and Nir Bitton turned the game on its head, giving Celtic hope of all three points.

However, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas brought Livi level, and Scott Brown’s red card compounded Celtic’s misery as they wasted a game in hand on Rangers.

That means Celtic have now gone four league games without a win having drawn with Livingston for the second time in five days, and the dream of ’10 in a row’ is now surely over for Celtic.

Livingston hit their own 10 in a row last night though; they’re now unbeaten in 10 games under David Martindale, and they took the chance to mock Celtic last night.

Livingston’s official Twitter account posted a photo emblazoned with a ’10IAR’ celebration, clearly poking fun at Celtic’s long-standing pursuit of 10 in a row – and Rangers fans in the comments of course loved it as they joined in the jokes at Celtic’s expense.
