Richards Keys has claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ‘lives rent-free’ in the head of his Manchester City rival, Pep Guardiola, as he told his own podcast.

During these past few weeks, as Liverpool and Manchester City battle it out for the Premier League title, a few words have been exchanged.

Whilst the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester City doesn’t have the edge, bite and nastiness like past rivalries have had, it has taken a few turns recently.

Guardiola recently claimed that ‘everybody supports Liverpool’, as quoted by the Independent.

It was a clear pop from the Spanish coach, but beIN SPORTS presenter Keys thinks that Klopp is driving his managerial counterpart ‘mad’.

“It’s a very difficult job to do post-match interviewer, no question,” said Keys. “Everybody is emotional.

“I think Klopp was reacting to what had happened (re comments about Conte and Spurs). He was disappointed and frustrated. It was a spur of the moment thing.

“Whereas Guardiola, when he had a little pop at Klopp and suggested that the nation are ‘all Liverpool fans’. That had been festering. He couldn’t wait to say it.

“Klopp lives rent-free in Guardiola’s head. He drives him mad.”

KLOPP AND GUARDIOLA TO TAKE THE PREMIER LEAGUE TITLE RACE TO THE FINAL DAY?

Manchester City dropped points away at West Ham United on Sunday, which added a few spices to this title race.

If Liverpool beat Southampton on Tuesday night, then the Reds could become champions of England on the final day.

The football scripts have seemingly been written because Aston Villa, and their manager Steven Gerrard, can help the Merseyside outfit to the title.

Before anything crazy can happen on the final day, and Man City know all about that, Klopp needs his players to get the job done at St Mary’s on Tuesday night.
