Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney is said to be on the radar of Marco Silva’s Everton side and Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk is a big fan.

According to the Scottish Herald, Everton are interested in Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.
Tierney appears to edging closer to an exit from Celtic this summer, with Everton big fans of the left-back.
The Scottish international is considered to be one of the best talents in Scotland, and Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk knows all about his talents.
Liverpool centre-back Van Dijk and Tierney teamed up at Celtic, and his comments back in 2017 show just how highly he rates the full-back.
“He’s been doing very well and I think Celtic are very smart to tie him down for the next six years. It’s good to see him as the captain as well,” Van Dijk said to the Scottish Sun.
“I can remember that day he made his debut at Dundee. Since then he has been progressing every game.
“He was the captain of his country and that’s very special at 20 years old.

“I don’t even know if he wants to go to the Premier League.
“Celtic is an amazing club for him as well and I don’t think there is any rush for him to leave.”
Despite Van Dijk suggesting that Tierney didn’t need to leave Celtic in 2017, he may feel that the time for the 22-year-old to head to England has come now.
The £75 million Liverpool man (Guardian) may be less keen on the idea of Tierney lining up in Everton’s team though.
If Tierney did move to Goodison Park he would face a major fight for the left-back slot.
Everton have just handed Leighton Baines a new contract, while Lucas Digne was given their player of the season award last term.
