Liverpool back up Simon Mignolet wants to continue being available for Belgium.

Belgium’s international team are entering a transitional phase as key players consider their future.
Marouane Fellaini recently quit Belgium, while defender Vincent Kompany’s injuries threaten his chances of continuing as a regular.
31-year-old Simon Mignolet says he has no intention of following Fellaini’s lead.
The Liverpool back up was asked by Voetball Nieuws this week about his future with the national side.
Mignolet said: “In Liverpool and Belgium I play in two great teams and that is of course fantastic to experience.
“In the moment you do not dwell on that, because you are part of it and you are in the moment. My future as Red Devil? I haven’t thought about that at all and I will remain available for Liverpool and the national team.”

Given that Mignolet has barely played for Liverpool over the past 18 months, it makes little sense for him to close the door on Belgium.
His status as a regular international boosts his reputation, which is needed considering his lack of game time for his club.
It could be crucial in landing a good move when he leaves the Reds, possibly this summer.
